Support CBC's Sounds of the Season with a gift to your local food bank! Join us for CBC Toronto's Sounds of the Season and support your local food bank! This year food banks across the GTA saw an increase in demand, with more than 1.1 million visits for emergency food hampers. That’s more than the number of riders through Bloor-Yonge subway station in a typical work week. CBC Toronto hosts a day-long broadcasting event on Friday, December 7 to raise much needed food and funds to help our neighbours and friends who are in need. Join CBC Toronto by tuning in to CBC Radio One 99.1 FM, watching CBC News Toronto, or stop by the CBC Broadcasting Centre at 250 Front Street West and make a food donation to Sounds of the Season. You may choose to donate to the GTA food bank of your choice by clicking on the logo below, or support all five food banks by selecting GTA greatest need.
