Thank you for choosing to take a stand against hunger this season.
This month alone over 7,500 people across our city will turn to a food bank for support. By choosing to organize a food/fundraiser for Daily Bread, you are ensuring that fresh, healthy food is available to the people who need it. Your leadership throughout this campaign will have immediate and positive impact in your community.
Are you running a food drive?
Organizing a workplace fundraiser?
Holding a third-party event/campaign?
You will need to register your initiative.
HOW TO REGISTER:
Set your fundraising goal. If you only plan on collecting food, you have the option to set your monetary goal as zero.
Once you have registered, please login to access your participant centre where you can customize your fundraising page and personalize your message. In the participant centre you will also find great fundraising tools including a Daily Bread food drive manual, posters, and sample emails to get the word out to your friends and family.
You can expect an email confirming your registration and with more instructions on setting up a successful campaign!
MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS:
- Canned protein in water (tuna, ham, beans)
- Dried legumes/dried beans
- Rice and pasta
- Peanut butter
- Baby food
- Oatmeal and nutritious (high fibre/low sugar) cereal
- Healthy snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks)
- Canned fruit and vegetables (including tomato sauce)
WHERE CAN I DROP MY FOOD DONATIONS?
Click here to find a location nearest you. To schedule a pick up, you must have a minimum of 250 lbs of food donations (a full bin). Please click here to fill out a pick-up request and a member of our team will contact you to confirm. Please give us 48 hours notice for any requests. We will try our best to accommodate your ideal date.
