You can purchase as many gifts as you like. There is no limit. Each gift will let you send a print card, or an e-card to the recipient of your choice.

You can purchase a gift now or anytime, day or night, any day of the year, to celebrate any occasion. Just visit our product catalogue to choose your gift today.
I want to purchase a gift, where does my money go?
When you purchase a gift, the donation is made to Daily Bread Food Bank and goes to the highest priority need at the time. The items and services described in this catalogue are representative of many of the activities and programs that Daily Bread carries out.
What happens if too many people purchase the same gift?
If at any time a particular item is selling at a high demand, Daily Bread Food Bank will redirect your donation to benefit where the highest priority need is at the time.
How can I notify the gift recipient that I have purchased a gift in their honour?
When you purchase a gift, you will have the option to send a personalized eCard to the gift recipient. With the eCard option, you can write in their name and a personal message.
What kind of cards do I have to choose from?
You will have a choice between sending an eCard that will be e-mailed directly to the recipient of the gift within 24 hours. You can also send a PDF cards that you can personally print and deliver to your gift recipient.
Can I personalize the message?
Of course! You can write your own personalized message before sending or printing your card.
Can I use one card for multiple gifts?
Each gift you make allows you to personalize and send an e-card to one recipient at a time.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Every gift you make over $10 will receive a tax receipt from Daily Bread Food Bank. When you purchase your gift, an e-tax receipt will be sent as an attachment to the email address you provide within 24 hours of your purchase. Please save and keep this e-tax receipt for your files.
Why is giving my email address mandatory?
When you make your gift purchase online, providing your email address allows Daily Bread to reduce our mailing costs, eliminate errors and provides your tax receipt within 24 hours.
How secure is my information?
Daily Bread Food Bank respects the privacy of our staff, volunteers and donors and we are committed to keeping your personal information accurate, confidential, secure and private. Daily Bread does not sell, rent, or trade its mailing lists.
Who does Daily Bread Food Bank serve and why?
Daily Bread serves everyone who is in need of food assistance and does not have enough income or resources to put food on the table. Families, children, the working poor, people with disabilities, newcomers, single parents, social assistance recipients and people with low incomes. How does Daily Bread Food Bank work?
Daily Bread Food Bank is a distribution hub that solicits, collects, sorts and distributes food through a network of food banks and other food relief programs based in Toronto. It is the GTA’s largest network of food relief programs for people who are struggling with hunger. Daily Bread’s member agencies place food orders based on the number of people they serve. Daily Bread has a fleet of five trucks and drivers who deliver the food to the program.
